Renewal, Assignment and AlterationRenewal
The period of use of a trademark is for ten years. It can be renewed for another ten years if a renewal application is filed half a year before the expiration.
Assignment
Documents for filing an Assignment Application include: Power of Attorney, Trademark Assignment Application, a copy of business license.
Alteration
While there is any change on the name and/or address of the applicant or registrant, an alteration application shall be filed to the Trademark Office.
